Note:There is a tip over switch located on the  
base of the heater.When the heater tips over, it  
will turn off automatically.  
Do not run the cord under carpeting or  
cover the cord with rugs, runners or the  
like.Arrange the cord away from traffic  
areas and where it will not be tripped  
over.  
Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug,  
control settings, air inlets and outlets and  
main housing for any damage. If found  
damaged in any way, immediately cease  
use of the heater and return to  
OPERATING  
INSTRUCTIONS  
1. Remove the heater from its carton and  
associated protective wrapping and  
unwind the cord to its full length.  
Kambrook or an authorised service agent  
for inspection or repair.  
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to  
pass through the inlet or outlet openings,  
this may cause an electric shock. Or it  
may cause fire or damage to the heater.  
2. Place the heater on a firm level surface,  
in a stable upright position.  
The installation of a residual current  
device (safety switch) is recommended to  
provide additional safety protection when  
using electrical appliances. It is advisable  
that a safety switch with a rated residual  
operating current not exceeding 30mA be  
installed in the electrical circuit supplying  
the appliance. See your electrician for  
professional advice.  
3.Visually inspect the air inlet and outlets  
to ensure no foreign material is blocking  
these areas.  
To prevent possible fire, allow ample space  
around the heater (at least 1.7 metres at  
the front and 0.5 metres at the rear, top  
and sides) and do not block air inlets or  
outlets in any manner. Check the openings  
from time to time for accumulated dust.  
4. Make sure the right Selector control  
knob is turned to the ‘off’ position.  
Thermostat Control  
Turn the right selector control to the high  
(••) temperature setting by turning the  
knob clockwise.  
5. Plug the cord into a 230-240V power  
outlet.To avoid an electrical circuit  
overload, be sure that no other appliances  
are plugged into the same circuit with  
your heater when you switch the unit on.  
Turn the left selector control to the  
highest thermostat setting - 6.  
This appliance is not intended for use by  
young children or infirm persons unless  
they have been adequately supervised by  
a responsible person to ensure that they  
can use the appliance safely.  
Let the heater run until the desired room  
temperature is achieved.Then turn the  
knob clockwise until you hear a click  
sound.The unit will stop.  
6. Control your heater with the right  
selector knob, as follows:  
Young children should be supervised to  
ensure that they do not play with the  
appliance.  
The selector control knob has 4 settings:  
‘Off’ shuts off both heater and fan

automatically cycle on and off to maintain  
the desired room temperature.

Slide the oscillation switch located at the  
bottom of the unit to I ‘on’ setting.The  
heater will rotate providing warmth  
throughout the room.  
If the product includes one or a number of  
accessories only the defective accessory or  
product will be replaced.  
KAMBROOK warrants the purchaser  
against defects in workmanship and  
material, for a period of 12 months from  
the date of purchase (3 months  
commercial use).  
Use a clean dry cloth to clean the external  
surfaces of the heater only.  
If the heater has collected dust or dirt  
inside the unit or around the element,  
have the unit cleaned by a qualified service  
agent. Do not operate the heater in this  
condition.  
In the event of KAMBROOK choosing to  
replace the appliance, the guarantee will  
expire at the original date, ie. 12 months  
from the original purchase date.  
Guarantee and purchase receipt for this  
product are to be retained as proof of  
purchase and must be presented if making  
a claim under the terms of the

Thermoguard Overheating Safety  
device  
KAMBROOK reserves the right to  
replace or repair the appliance within the  
warranty period.  
When not in use, pack the heater in its  
original box for

overheating. Should the heater stop  
working, turn the heater off and inspect
