1 Safety Warnings
• Read all of the instructions before
use.

• Keep away from water.
• Unplug the device immediately af-
ter use in order to reduce the risk of
death in case of an electrical shock.

• Do not put the device in a place
where it can slide into a sink or a
bath or do not keep the device in
such a place.
• Do not use on sleeping persons.
• Do not insert or drop any foreign
materails from an open part of the
hair flattener.
• Do not use it while you are having
a bath.
• Do not use in open areas, the
places where sprays are used or
oxygen is given.
• Do not immerse or drop it into
water or in another liquid.
• If your device is dropped, unplug
immediately. Never insert your hand
into water.
• The plates got extremely hot during
usage. Do not let your skin to touch
their hot surfaces.
• Never leave the hair straightener
device without observation in order
to reduce the risk of burn, electrical
shock, fire or damage.
• Do not put the hair flattener on
soft surfaces such as bed, carpet
or towel. Put it on a hard, smooth
surface which can handle heat.
• Close observation is required
in case of usage of any electrical
devices by a child or a handicapped
person or near them. Do not let
children to play with hair straightener
device.
• Keep these instructions.
• Use this hair flattener only in the
areas mentioned in this manual. Do
not use accessories which are not
recommended by Beko.

straightener your hair. Dry your hair

The digital hair straightener is not
appropriate to be used with synthetic
wigs and hair extentions.
Your hair straightener will be ready in
1-2 minutes due to the temperature
that you have chosen.
Hold certain parts of your hair with
clips (which are appropriate for the
thickness of your hair) from top,
middle, back, front and sides in
order to make hair styling operation
easier.
Usage
Be very careful while using the hair
straightener becouse the device gets
hot during the usage. It is important
to determine the appropriate heat
for your hair before usage in order to
prevent your hair to get dry or dam-
aged. If you have any suspicions,
start with the lower heat regulation
and increase the heat step by step,
by using the heat regulation control-
ler, if necessary.
Put the unit on a smooth, hard and
heat handling surface carefully.
Choose the heat regulation appropri-
ate for your hair type. Start with the
lowest heat regulation for thin and
damaged hair.
First straightener the lower layers
of your hair and then pass to upper
layers. Take a small part of your hair
and pull as shown. Hold the hair
straightener in one of your hands
and cramp your hair between plates
starting from the root.
Slide the hair straightener on the part
of the hair that is held without stop-
ping. Make sure that you are holding
the hair straightener from its holder
and cold holding places. Repeat this
operation until your hair straightener
as much as you want.
It may be plugged in a house plug
(230/240V AC)
Styling Advices
When pressed to ON/OFF button
for a second, digital heat indicator
appears and mentions that the hair
straightener gets hot. When the unit
is cold, the starting heat is always
160 C which is the lowest working
temperature. The black dots on the
two sides of the 160 C shows that
this temperature is chosen. For
180 C as a higher temperature
degree push the ‘+’ button; you will

Automatic Security Turning OFF

Your Hair Straightener has an
automatic turning off feature for your
security. The hair straightener turns
off after a usage for 30 minutes and
it enters to the STANDBY (wait-
ing) mode which will appear on the

If your device requires cleaning,
unplug the unit and rub the outer
surface and the plates with a soft
cloth. Do not immerse in any liquids.
Do not use corrosive cleaning liquids
and substances in order to clean
plates.
