IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS  
Oral-B Pulsonic has been carefully designed to offer you and your  
family a unique brushing experience that is both safe and effective.  
However, when using electrical products, basic safety precautions  
should always be followed.  
Read all instructions before using.  
IMPORTANT  
• Periodically check the cord for damage. If cord is damaged, take  
the charging unit to an Oral B Braun Service Center. A damaged or  
non-functioning unit should no longer be used.  
• This product is not intended for use by children under age three.  
• Close supervision is necessary when this product is either used by or  
near children or invalids.  
• Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not  
working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged or if it has been  
dropped into water. If any of these occur, please contact a service center  
and return the product for examination and repair.  
• Do not place or store the charger where it can fall or be pulled into a tub  
or sink.  
• Do not place the charger in water or other liquid.  
• Do not reach for a charger that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.  
• Do not modify the product. Do not disassemble or repair. This may cause  
fire, electric shock or injury. Consult your dealer for repairs or contact an  
Oral-B Braun Service center. Do not disassemble the product except  
when disposing of the battery.  
• When taking out the battery for disposal, use caution not to short the  
positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.  
• Never drop the appliance or insert any object into any opening of the  
appliance.  
• Do not touch the power plug with wet hands. This can cause electric  
shock.  
• When unplugging, always hold the power plug instead of the cord.  
• Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.  
Do not use attachments or chargers not recommended by the  
manufacturer.  
• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.  
• Do not put metal objects such as coins and clips on the charger. This  
may generate heat damaging the unit and heating the metal item  
presenting a potential burn hazard.  
• If you are undergoing treatment for any oral care condition, consult your  
dental professional prior to use.

Connecting and charging  
The toothbrush is electrically safe and can be used in the bathroom without  
hesitation.  
• Plug the charging unit (g) into an electrical outlet and place the handle (f)  
on the charging unit  
.

• A full charge takes at least 12 hours and will provide an operation time of  
approximately 30 minutes.  
• For everyday use, the handle can be stored on the plugged-in charging  
unit to maintain the toothbrush at full power. Overcharging is impossible.  
To maintain the maximum capacity of the rechargeable battery, unplug  
the charging unit and fully discharge the handle by regular use at least  
every 6 months.

Slide the brush head (a) on the handle and turn until it clicks into place as  
shown in picture

Brushing modes  
Oral-B Pulsonic offers different brushing modes for varying oral care needs:  
«Clean»  
– Gentle, effective mouth cleaning.  
«Sensitive» – Gentle cleaning for sensitive areas.  
Your toothbrush automatically starts in the «Clean» mode when pressing  
the on/off button (c) . To shift from the «Clean» to the «Sensitive» mode,

press the on/off button once again. To turn your toothbrush off, press the  
on/off button.  
Brushing technique  
• Wet brush head and apply toothpaste. You can use it with any  
toothpaste.  
To avoid splashing place the brush head on your teeth, then switch on.  
• Move the brush head in a slightly circular motion, similar to a manual  
toothbrush  
.

• After a few seconds, guide the bristles to the next section  
• During the first few days of use, it is possible that your gums may bleed  
slightly. Should bleeding persist after 2 weeks, contact your dentist.  
• Replace brush head every 3 months or when bristles are worn.  
Timer  
A short stuttering sound at 30-second intervals (one break), which  
you can hear and feel, reminds you to brush the four quadrants of  
your mouth equally for a better overall clean.  
A long stuttering sound (two breaks) indicates when the professionally  
recommended 2-minute brushing time has been reached.  
Precision Tip  
The Precision Tip (b) is designed for cleaning between teeth as well as  
around bridges, crowns and implants. To use, position at a 45 degree angle  
to gumline and slowly guide it along the gumline from one interdental  
space to the next

Cleaning  
Switch off the handle and remove the brush head. Rinse both the brush  
head and handle under running water and wipe them dry  
.

From time to time also clean the charging unit with a damp cloth. For  
thorough cleaning you may remove the handle stand by pushing the  
release button on top of the charging unit.
